Houses on Hartsholme Drive in Swanpool Garden Suburb conservation area. Colonel J.S.Ruston, a director of Lincoln engineering firm Ruston and Hornsby built the garden suburb in 1919 with wide avenues and spacious accommodation. His original plan for a 25 acre self-contained community was never realised and only 113 houses were built.
