The Soho Road (A41) passing through the heart of Handsworth heading towards West Bromwich. The building with the "spire" in the centre of the picture was once Midland Bank, 182 Soho Road, Handsworth. The premises are now used by the Bank of India. Inside the lovely solid wooden original Midland Bank cashiers' counter and glass "anti-bandit" screen are still in-situ.
