Entrance to The Spa Hotel

One of Tunbridge Wells' premier dining spots. Built 1765 by Sir George Kelley, Lord of the Manor, as Bishops Down Grove. Its life as a hotel dates from 1878, when, following enlargement, it was opened as the Bishops Down Grove Spa and Hydropathic Sanatorium.
