Viewed looking eastwards towards Barnwood Farm and the Chesham direction, Blind Lane does not appear as a name on modern maps, but is certainly the name of the track on the 1883 Ordnance Survey map on the Old Maps website http://www.old-maps.co.uk/ Perhaps it was so called because, although it appears to head straight for Chesham, it eventually peters out into a rough footpath.
