Village Stocks, Piddinghoe

These are the remains of the village stocks and are situated in the church yard of St John's Church, close to the tower. There are two stone uprights and two dilapidated wooden holders in which the leg holes can still be seen. This structure was listed Grade II in 1965 but now needs some attention.
