New houses provided for the burgeoning population of Pimlico, Torquay, built at the behest of Sir Lawrence Palk. these had a living room, wash-house, pantry, 2 bedrooms and small garden overlooking a central open green - all to be let at £7.5.0d (£7.25p) per annum.
