Work has ground to a halt on the station development. The tower crane in the distance is on the site of the Victoria Hall residence for students at Wolverhampton University. This will be 25 storey tower block. The height of the building appears out of character with the surrounding listed buildings (Low Level Station), railway viaduct and Springfield Brewery.
