Sainsbury's from Melbourne Street

The supermarket was opened in 1984 on the site of Cox's pill factory and the remainder of the Lewes Road viaduct. See http://www.subbrit.org.uk/sb-sites/stations/k/kemp_town/index19.shtml for a similar view taken back in 1982 before both buildings were demolished. The only survivor of the factory is the clock which was added to the new building as a reminder.
