A rough track leads from the bridge along the west bank of the river, past a few dilapidated lock-ups, some ruins and the remnant of a lime kiln. Now a neglected area, this was once the site of nautical activity when boatyards and storehouses lined the river to service the fishing trade that supported the little community of Lower Fishguard.
