The Clock Tower ... and Clock ... is just about visible from all parts of the current Hospital Site ... certainly, in its original guise as the Sheffield Union Workhouse the clock would have been visible from all parts, including the nearby Hospital Farm, and would have been used for 'time keeping' such as Meal Times, Lights Out, Doors Locked and so on.
