20040 and 20171 head a train of old style coal wagons past the junction for Drakelow Power Station. The Class 20's were one of the success stories of the British Railways modernisation program. They entered service in 1958 and a few examples remain in use in 2008. It is a dull April day and the trees have yet to start growing this year's leaves.
