This canal is about 6 miles long from Yiewsley to Slough, opened in 1882. See Jim Shead's page http://easyweb.easynet.co.uk/jim.shead/History12.html#GUSB for history. View looking west, just beyond an industrial estate on the north bank, where the canal is in open countryside for a couple of miles.
