This is a wooded chine of 62 acres containing trees of various species (mainly Ash & Beech). It's a nature reserve managed by the Hampshire and I.O.W. Naturalist Trust. This section was cleared by the "Hampshire Conservation Volunteers" around 2002 in order to create a more varied habitat within the woods.
