Situated near the junction with Sion Hill, The Hare & Hounds is one of Broadwaters' several surviving public houses. Another view: Image For many years the pub was run by Bathams, the famous family run Black Country brewers. They took a lease of it in 1939 and then bought the freehold in 1950. The brewery do have a history of buying and selling pubs and it seems that at some time after 1992 they disposed of this one. That's quite a pity as the nearest Bathams pubs are a few miles away.
