The Coventry Arms is in the historical northern part of Corfe Mullen, far removed from today's village centre with much modern development to the south. The pub closed down a decade or so ago but reopened fairly soon afterwards and appears to be thriving. The postbox is emptied finally at 5pm on weekdays and at noon on Saturdays.
