This lovely old shop on Montpelier Road in the Dunkirk area of Nottingham still seems to be in operation - inside it looks positively Dickensian. I guess that the goods on offer are (or were) popular here because of the close proximity of the Beeston canal. I must have passed it on my bike at least a hundred times, but it has always had a car or van parked in front of it, so I've not taken a photo before - however, this is the last time I will ever pass this way, so it will have to be recorded with the most interesting window partially obscured.
