This was taken after it had been sold for conversion, and after it had suffered serious damage in a fire. The single storey building contained the waiting room, ticket office and other facilities for passengers. The two storey part was the stationmaster's house. It had been purchased by the son of the last stationmaster, with a view to retiring there. When eventually he did retire, the waiting room was demolished and the house converted into an attractive dwelling.
