Statues of William and his sister set in a small garden at the corner of Sullart Street and Crown Street. It is just across the road from the house where they were born Image The bust of William was erected in 1970, the bicentenary of his birth. The statue of Dorothy Wordsworth as a child is set on top of a drinking fountain. It was unveiled in Harris Park in 1896, where it remained until being stolen in 2000. The statue was later found buried in a garden in Keswick, and returned to Cockermouth at its current location in 2004.
