About six miles of trackbed of the previous Somerset & Dorset Joint Railway in North Dorset have been opened as a "trailway" for pedestrians & cyclists; safer than walking through the village along the A350, where pavements often vanish! http://www.north-dorset.gov.uk/trailway_sites_open_to_the_public
