The War Memorial in Hall Square. Boroughbridge Hall just seen through the gates on the left. The Blue Plaque on the wall pillar to the right reads: - BOROUGHBRIDGE HALL Isabella Bird (Mrs Bishop), explorer, missionary and author, was born here on 15 October 1831.
