A winch launched glider makes a sharp turn near landing. The pilot, in the group on the left, is willing it on with an odd body stance, while his timekeeper watches from behind. Silent flight aircraft also include electric powered types. All other classes compete at Barkston Heath, a few miles further North on the Roman road. It is a scanned print so the year is a guess.
