The Frith Collection has a 1955 photo http://www.francisfrith.com/search/england/cambridgeshire/bottisham/photos/bottisham_B727004.htm from which we find that the porch has been added since then, while apparently retaining the same doorway. The chimneys have been reduced from their former magnificence. It used to be a Lacon's house, now it is Greene King (like most other village pubs around here).
