The entrance viewed from the Holmes Chapel Road, A5022. I would guess that it started life some time in the late 60's as a motel (think "Crossroads") strategically placed just off Junction 17 of the M6 which was built in the 1960's. It is fit only for bulldozing now although, amazingly was still open for business as recently as December 2007. By then, judging by the state of the outside fabric of the place, it must have been pretty decrepit.
