Excellent pub in West Hill Road, near the town centre; formerly the Pembroke Arms; 2009 Good Beer Guide listed. The left hand façade has green faience tiles with a dolphin motif; once owned by Marston's Dolphin Brewery, Poole. Internally, traditionally modernised around large central bar, on three sides & different levels. At my visit, 4 Wadworth's & 2 Red Shoot cask ales were on offer, as well as 4 guest ales. The best variety of any Bournemouth pub; also good-value meals served.
