On the southern edge of the village of Foulsham - see also > http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/1041660 - a long-distance view taken from the public footpath which starts following a track called Common Road > http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/1041369 which turns off in northerly direction in a lay-by on the northern side of the A1067 (Fakenham Road) > http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/1041349. It forms the first section of a public footpath which leads to the village of Foulsham, a couple of kilometres further to the north. At the end of Common Road > http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/1041428 the footpath continues in northwesterly direction, leading across this field > http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/1041440. By now the shoes feel very heavy because of all the mud that is adhering to them. What at first looks like a hedge > http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/1041464 turns out to be a hedge growing alongside a drainage ditch; a footbridge leading over it is concealed by the shrubbery > http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/1041472. A small pond is located beside it > http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/1041481.
