Tyringham Hall viewed from the Bridge. The house was designed by Sir John Soane in 1792 with later additions in 1924 by Edwin Lutyens, who also laid out the gardens (acknowledgement: Wiki). During World War II it was used as a maternity hospital for refugees from the Blitz on London's East End, when it was known as "East End Maternity Hospital".
