The church of St Laurence is situated on the east side of the lane through this quiet Gloucestershire village. The church is built of Lias stone with a tiled roof. It comprises a chancel with a south chapel, long nave, south tower set as a transept, and north and south porches. http://www.british-history.ac.uk/report.asp?compid=15834
