This lochside development is called Loch Lomond Shores, and seems designed mainly to appeal to tourists. The largest building, in the form of a long sweeping arc, is the retail crescent, which houses various shops. A separate building, just visible at the extreme right of the photo, with a puff of steam rising from it, is the National Park Gateway Centre. The photograph was taken on a very wet day from inside nearby Drumkinnon Tower: Image Compare Image, which was taken from outside (on the observation deck) on a better day.
