But, oddly not a suspension bridge. There was a suspension bridge here from 1826 to 1926 when it was replaced by a bridge that lasted until 1996 which itself was replaced by this bridge after it was assessed to be too weak to carry lorries. See http://www.welney.org.uk/Suspension_bridge.htm
