The family headstone of Sir Stephen May of Belfast in Balmoral Cemetery. Two of his sons are mentioned - Humphrey Frederick May, a Capt in the Queens Royal Antrim Rifles, and Stephen Brinsley May of the 48th Bengal Native Infantry.
