Lake at Sandling

The leat from Boxley mill pond drains into this lake before pouring into a culvert under the A299/M20 interchange and making its way to the River Medway via another old mill or two. I can find no evidence on the old maps of another mill associated with this pond which didn't seem to exist in 1869.
