Sandstone milestone with well-maintained roll-top plate. One of a series of 3 surviving from Cam to Cambridge (A38). This one is now on a short section of service road, the main road having been re-aligned. Erected by the Berkeley, Dursley, Wotton, Frocester & Caincross Trust, incorporated 1726; this stone probably dates from the late 18C or early 19C. Inscription reads:- : GLOS'TER / 12 / DURSLEY 3 / WOTTON / 7 / : Milestone Society National ID: GL_WEGL07
