Bryn Pydew Road climbs almost to the summit of a limestone ridge, both sides of which have been quarried in times past. Here woodland on the old quarries is part of the nature reserve belonging to the North Wales Wildlife Trust. Distant views are of Penrhyn Bay and the Little Orme.
