A Hadfield-Manchester EMU leaves Guide Bridge on what were, in 1977, the principal platforms for passenger traffic. Subsequently the line here was reduced from four tracks to two, with these being abandoned. See the result in photo http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/828024.
