The original Hard Rock Cafe is located here at the western end of Piccadilly near Hyde Park Corner. It was established in 1971 by two Americans and quickly gained cult status at a time when American cuisine was a rarity in Britain. It is known for its rock memarobilia and the long queues to get a table.
