This Distillery has an interesting recent history. Situated next to Longmorn it was sometime called Longmorn 2. Pernod acquired it in 2001. With 3 other distilleries it was working on a 3 month rotational basis, but was mothballed in 2002. Happily it was purchased by a private consortium in April 2004 and production continues.
