Pictured on a glorious Sunday afternoon in mid October. The village is busy (and the church providing teas) because thousands have flocked to Apple Day at Blackmoor Nursery, the centre of Hampshire apple-growing. St Matthew's church was built in 1868 to a design by Alfred Waterhouse, better known for London's Natural History Museum.
