Looking down on Aberfan

The picture is centred on the blocks of houses at the north end of Aberfan, known as The Grove. This side of them, closer to the River Taff, are playing fields with the B4285 between. The new dual carriageway A470 runs along the hillside behind, and the hill beyond is Twyn Sych.
