The sculpture was commissioned by the Housing Market renewal and situated at the end of the now no through road, Aldwarke Road. The sculpture is in the form of an acorn, which was designed with the help of children from Class 5 at Rawmarsh Ashwood Primary School, who took part in a number of art workshops.
