Seen from a high point on Hadrian's Wall National Trail http://www.nationaltrail.co.uk/hadrianswall/ looking over the wild and desolate country to the north of the Wall. In the foreground is Hexagon Plantation - so named because it is hexagonal in shape! Beyond is Sook Hill Farm. Further away again is Longsyke and Wealside Farms Image On the horizon is the southern boundary of Wark Forest.
