Motion Details
That this House believes that there have been many positive steps taken to reorganise and revitalise UNESCO; and calls on Her Majesty's Government to return to full membership of this most important United Nations Specialised Agency without further delay, to resume thereby active United Kingdom participation in the closely inter-connected areas of the Organisation's activities in education, science, culture and communication, and to play a creative role in leading UNESCO into the 21st century.
