BARROW WOMEN'S REFUGE (11 January 1993)
Motion Details
That this House condemns the decision of the Conservative-controlled Barrow Council to close the emergency needs service in the borough which provides vital protection to women and children at risk from violent husbands and partners; and therefore calls on Barrow Council to ensure that a secure refuge continues to be available to local people in need.
