PARLIAMENTARY EARLY DAY MOTION
Disabled People (Clothing) (8 February 1990)
Motion Details
That this House is concerned about the Government's decision not to recognise the need for grant aiding small specialist clothing manufacturers who specialise in producing to order individual types of clothing for the seriously disabled; and regrets that Her Majesty's Government has not yet realised the value of such outlets to the seriously disabled nor acted for their needs by providing funds to support such necessary and innovatory projects that are of potential national significance and which could provide great help to the severely disabled by establishing both availability and the necessary patterns of service for disabled people's clothing needs.
