Locks to nowhere (yet)!
Newly restored locks at Hanbury Wharf on the Droitwich Narrow Canal currently ending in a field. A recent Heritage Lottery Fund grant will see this canal reopened to give another connection to the River Severn.

Private moorings near Hadzor, Worcestershire
Here on the Worcester and Birmingham Canal north of Hadzor Bridge (No 33), farmers have taken advantage of their position by allowing private long term mooring with access through their land. This facility of linear moorings is being discouraged by the British Waterways as more marinas are being constructed.
