18 Lansdowne Crescent, Worcester
Aka Bishop's House, after Bishop Gore who lived here in 1902-04. Nowadays it may emanate domestic bliss but it was in fact built as the Worcester Female Asylum, in 1830, and converted to a house in 1850 by Richard Varden. Grade II listed.
