St Patrick's RC Church, Scholes
The large presbytery next to the church is a reminder of the days when a number of priests would be at work in the parish. One priest now serves this parish and the adjacent parish of St William, Ince. Architect J O'Beirne, 1880.

Changing styles
Architecture down the years - Edwardian terraces lead down towards the refurbished 1960s multi-storey Boyswell House on Scholes. The 1990s houses nearer the camera replace 1970s maisonettes which proved unpopular with tenants and became hard to let. They in turn replaced rows of Victorian terraces.
