How can I make this any clearer?
Look, this is very obviously an untall brick archway, I have painted tiger stripes on it and stuck an 11' 6" limit sign with width bars in the centre. What will it take to stop people hitting it? Do I have to spell it out in 18 inch high fluorescent letters? Sheesh! The letters have apparently been added since 2009, compare Image (from the other side).

Hunton Bridge: Bridge Road bridge
Built as part of the original railway infrastructure and not for modern traffic this bridge still causes problems. The height restriction is 11' 6" and that is between the white vertical bars, so high vehicles have to pass in the centre of the bridge, as evidenced by the white arrow in the road. The road this side is Bridge Road, beyond the bridge it is Hunton Bridge Hill. On the left is a pedestrian tunnel.
