Drainage channel by Trout Lane
This channel seems to follow the course of the River Pinn south of Fray's River, but it doesn't appear on maps. View from Beeches Way following Trout Lane as it cuts across between the main Grand Union Canal and the canal's Slough arm.

I can't believe it's Yiewsley
This deceptively bucolic scene off Trout Lane really is in the London Borough of Hillingdon... hemmed in by housing, a Tesco superstore and litter-strewn streets.

A Lake in the Park
Between Frays River and new housing developments beside the Grand Union Canal there is an area of former gravel workings which has been landscaped into a park.
The trees at the far side of the lake are growing on some old gravel tips which still remain.
