The parish church of Mount Hawke, situated on the southern side of the village, was consecrated in 1878 following the creation of the parish itself in 1846.

Mount Hawke old school
With the new school behind the camera, a view of the old school and the short road leading to the Methodists' chapel. The old school is beautifully kept and calls itself Old School Bar and Kitchen.
