Carbis Bay Railway Station in the Mist
Fine settled weather in May and a light onshore breeze brings in a pall of mist from the still chilly sea. The railway station is a halt on the St Ives Branch Line and is very busy in the summer season.

Carbis Bay railway station, Cornwall
Opened in 1877 by the Great Western Railway on its line from St. Ives to St. Erth. View north west towards St. Ives. The main building used to be at the top of the path on the left, where the cabin now is. There was only ever the single platform.
